Courses on Design & Application Methodology

Description

This is a course for intermediate ceramic art learners aiming at acquiring a special approach to ceramic art, seeking their own personal expression. Courses include:
Practical application of learners’ designs, after discussion with the instructors as to their design, technicalities and crafting process; they may be trilogies, installations, development and evolution of a form, wall mounted artworks, etc.
• Special tasks following research and model designs.
• Coloring ceramics using glaze stains, decorating colors, englobes and enamels, as well as combinations of all the above.

Creation of colors and glazes by the learners themselves.
•  Basic knowledge into material technology.

√ At the end of the cycle of studies, learners participate and display their works of art at a selected art space.

√  A scholarship for the participant with the best exhibit is also provided.
